Hi, I’m Kristina — a therapist who believes that healing begins with remembering who you are. You are not broken, even if life has made you feel that way.
I became a therapist because of a deep, ongoing curiosity to understand myself more fully — a spiritual longing to grow and make sense of life. Helping others has always been part of that calling. I bring a down-to-earth approach to therapy, and I believe humor and honesty are powerful tools for healing. My personal experience with growth and healing shapes the way I hold space for the people I work with.
Clients often tell me they feel safe, seen, and gently challenged in our work. My style is warm, intuitive, and grounded in deep respect for your story. I listen for the parts of you that have been ignored or over-functioning for too long — and help you come back to your truth.
My approach is shaped by years of study and experience in several traditions:
Contemplative Psychotherapy — Rooted in Tibetan Buddhism and mindfulness, this work taught me the power of presence, curiosity, and the radical belief in basic goodness: the idea that you’re already whole, even in your pain. I earned my Masters degree from Naropa University, where I learned to slow down, stay with discomfort, and listen deeply — to both others and myself.
Modern Psychoanalysis — This lens helps us explore unconscious patterns and emotional stuck points with compassion. It’s not about quick fixes. It’s about creating the kind of relationship where long-term, lasting change is possible — a space where silence is welcome, defenses are respected, and every part of you gets to come forward.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) — I’ve taught DBT skills to teens and young adults in clinical settings, helping clients build tools for emotional regulation, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. These skills continue to shape the practical, grounded support I offer in sessions.
Parts Work & Mindful Awareness — I draw from traditions like Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gestalt, Hakomi, and Focusing — all of which trust that healing happens when we bring compassion and curiosity to our inner world. These approaches help us connect with the different “parts” of ourselves: the anxious part, the protector, the inner critic, the part that wants to hide or please. Rather than trying to get rid of these parts, we get to know them. With mindfulness and presence, we build relationships with each of them — allowing stuck patterns to shift and deeper self-trust to emerge.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, or simply the ache of being human, I hold a warm, steady space for you to come home to yourself.

Outside of the Therapy Room…
I’m a cat mom, a pickleball enthusiast, and a lover of deep belly laughs. Time with friends, family, and a good comedy special keeps me grounded. I believe healing happens not just in therapy, but in joy, connection, and the small, sacred moments of everyday life.
